The Tunbridge Wells Operatic & Dramatic Society (TWODS), supported by JD Wetherspoon, are proud to announce a return to the Opera House Tunbridge Wells after an absence of 44 years for two semi-staged charity gala performances celebrating the lyrics and music from Gilbert & Sullivanís operas.
Arthur Sullivanís glorious music from The Gondoliers, Iolanthe, The Mikado, HMS Pinafore, The Pirates of Penzance, Princess Ida, Ruddigore, Trial by Jury & The Yeomen of the Guard will be performed by the TWODS eighteen-piece gala orchestra, full chorus and principals conducted by David Grubb.
W S Gilbertís combination of parody, pastiche and satire will be interpreted by Stage Director Neil Harris, in the splendour of the townís only traditional theatre.
